Taking Rybelsus: Use dry hands to handle the tablet. Do not swallow the tablet with water or chew it. Allow it to dissolve completely before swallowing.
Mixing with other medications: Do not split, crush, or chew the tablet.Do not take Rybelsus within 1 hour before or 30 minutes after taking other oral medications or supplements, as this may affect how your body absorbs Rybelsus.
Mealtime: Rybelsus can be taken at any time, with or without food. However, follow your healthcare provider's instructions for the appropriate mealtime based on your insulin or other diabetes medication.
Effectiveness: Rybelsus may take up to 14 days to show its full effect on your blood sugar levels. Regular follow-up appointments with your healthcare provider are essential to monitor your progress and make adjustments to your dosage, if necessary.
